San Diego High School represents San Diego ISD at the Career and Technical Association of Texas (CTAT) in San Antonio, TX. Our teachers participated in sessions to continue to grow, recruit, and prepare students for life after high school. Whether it’s college, trade-school, or the workforce our students leave San Diego ISD prepared!

This past Tuesday, our High School ACE students explored Austin, Texas through culture and cuisine, then created the Uncommon Burger with a corn side. Hands-on learning at its best! 👨🍳✨

This past Monday, our Junior High ACE students explored Austin, Texas through culture, geography, and local cuisine—then created the Uncommon Burger with a corn side. Learning never tasted so good! 👩🍳✨


This Monday and Tuesday, our Collins-Parr Elementary ACE students launched the Uncommon Junior Chef program with a culinary journey to Austin, Texas! Students explored language, geography & landscape, science, history, economics, culture, and local cuisine—then put their learning into action by creating The Uncommon Burger with a corn accompaniment. Learning tastes better when it’s hands-on!

This past Monday our ACE parents kicked off our Cooking With Friends course with Texas AgriLife Extension Agent Marisa Garza! Participants sampled spice rubs and marinades while learning about balanced dinner plates, including proper servings of protein, vegetables, and fruits. A great start to healthy family meals!



Thank you to all of our ACE families who joined us for our Grinch event! It was such a fun and heartwarming evening filled with laughter, creativity, and holiday cheer. The wreaths you created were absolutely amazing and beautiful, and we loved seeing each family’s unique touch.
