🏀💙 MAD FOR DADS was a SLAM DUNK! 💙🏀 Families had a great time competing in fun basketball activities and building memories together. 💙 Big thanks to our sponsor, Whataburger, for the goodie bags—every child went home a winner! 🧡 🏆 Congrats to our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners!

🍴🌍 Uncommon Junior Chef Adventures: A Taste of Ireland! 🌍🍴

Last week, our elementary students in the Uncommon Chef Program took a culinary trip to Ireland—no passport needed! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳 They prepared a traditional Irish breakfast while learning teamwork, creativity, and essential cooking skills.

We’re so proud of their enthusiasm and curiosity. The culinary journey continues… where will our chefs travel next? 🍽️✨

Last week on Monday, our ACE high school and junior high students traveled to Italy through flavor! 🍝🍰

Students put their own creative spin on a classic pesto pasta dish and prepared tiramisu for dessert while showcasing teamwork, creativity, and collaboration in the kitchen. We are proud of our students for exploring international cuisine! 🌎👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

Last month in February, our ACE junior high and high school students created handmade Valentine’s Day cards for the residents at Windsor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of San Diego 💙

As the ACE Family Engagement Coordinator, I had the honor of delivering the cards on behalf of our students to help spread love and brighten the residents’ Valentine’s Day celebration ❤️

✨ Collins-Parr ACE – Uncommon Junior Chef Program: Italy Edition! ✨ On Monday and Tuesday, our Uncommon Junior Chefs created their own spin on pesto pasta while thoughtfully modifying the recipe to accommodate a classmate’s nut allergy. 🍝🌿 Proud of their teamwork, creativity, and care for one another! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳✨

There will be no ACE for CPE students on Friday, February 20, due to cheer tryouts. BJJH and SDHS students will resume with regular programming.
