At San Diego ISD, regular attendance is essential for both academic success and participation in extracurricular activities. Students are expected to maintain at least 90% attendance during each six-week grading period to remain eligible to participate. Students must also attend school the day following an extracurricular event and may not leave school early on the day of an event. These expectations apply to athletics, fine arts, FFA, CTE, clubs, competitions, field trips, elementary activities, and other district programs. We ask our families to help us protect valuable instructional time by making daily attendance a priority. Every Day. Every Minute. Every Student.
